A Skatepark for Hazlemere - Public Consultation

There has been significant interest in having a Skatepark in Hazlemere for the younger members of the community.

There has been significant interest in having a Skatepark in Hazlemere for the younger members of the community. The council set up a Skatepark Council working party which has had a petition with 500 signatures and a lot of support from parents for such a facility.

A feasibility study has taken place last year and the detailed report can be found behind this link, which we would encourage you to read.

The Council have agreed the best way forward is to go to public consultation which will run for 6 weeks. If there is enough support for a facility then a business plan will be prepared to be put to Full Council.

The work is being undertaken by members of the community and councillors and therefore there are no costs involved at this stage. This consultation will kickoff at the Hazlemere Fete, the Parish Council has a stand; come along and tell your councillors what you think.

This will be followed up by survey from which it is aimed at getting your comments.
