Do you support a Skatepark facility in Hazlemere for the younger members of the community?

Yes, 128
No, 3

Reason why:

A variety of reasons, the most popular being:

  • Our children/grand-children/family would use it
  • We feel there are not enough facilities for this age group in the area
  • Because it is a healthy social activity
  • I feel there is not enough for the older children to do in the local area.

For balance, one of the negative responses quoted that there is 'trouble everywhere there is one' [skatepark].

Reason why?

A variety of reasons, the most popular being:

  • Council should support the project
  • To help get the project started, the rest to come from the lottery and community
  • Bowls, tennis courts, play grounds were paid for by the council
  • The Parish Council is a strong financial position at the moment
  • Worthwhile project for our community and the kids

For balance, negative comments included:

  • The council have many things to fund and I think they should only make a small donation to any single project
  • The council has enough areas to be spending the taxpayers money on
  • Should be paid for by a lottery grant
